PhD Course in Earth Sciences
The PhD Course in Earth Sciences of the University of Padua is an important reality in the ambit of the Italian third level of education and training of research in the fields of Geosciences.
The policy of the Course follows the main strategic lines of the University, that value and strenghten the excellence in teaching and research, for the progressive improvement of the quality of curricula. Tha main mission of the Course is to maintain a high scientific profile, trying at the same time to be particularly responsive to the requests and needs that arise from society or industry.
The teaching staff includes a fair number of internationally esteemed scientists, allowing a high level of training of research in many disciplines of Earth Sciences, often in collaboration with foreign Universities and research Institutions.

Every academic year the Course, jointly with the China Scholarship Council (CSC), two scholarships for students from the People’s Republic of China are made available.
