Venice Lagoon: the morphology of the largest tidal basin in the Mediterranean

The first episode of the mini-series about the Venice Lagoon is dedicated to the typical morphological structures of this peculiar environment: the salt marshes, the tidal flats and the channel networks. We will also be observing how today the landscape of the Venice Lagoon is extremely different from the one which characterized this area during the Last Glacial Maximum.
