Goals, Strategies, Progresses - Socio-Economic Development
Goals
The consolidation of research activities in the field of Applied Geosciences poses the bases for a remarkable socio-economic impact of the project.
Specifically, the project aims at:
- Consolidate existing relationships and develop new collaborations with local authorities and industries in the field of sustainable development.
- Strengthen external communication and increase knowledge and technology transfer
Strategies
The "Third Mission Committee," established in the Department since 2018, is dedicated to ehnancing knowledge and technology transfer. in the frame of the project, this Committee will promote divulgation of results and will foster collaborative relationships with local authorities and industry, especially in the light of the research topics promoted within the project.
