Such a broad spectrum of expertise is the natural result of the policy pursued in recent years by the Department of Geosciences, which has encouraged and supported the fusion of synergies at intra- and inter-departmental level.

This effort has led to the emergence of research groups with a significant 'critical mass', which over time continue to implement new resources and know-how thanks to the numerous collaboration activities with Italian and foreign research centres.
