Claudia Benvegnù wins the Italian Canoe Marathon Championships

More great sporting achievements for Claudia Fabiola Benvegnù, a canoe athlete and student at our Department, where she is currently in her first year of the Master's degree in Environmental Geology and Earth Dynamics (Earth Dynamics curriculum).

At the Italian Canoe Marathon Championships, held in Florence on the weekend of May 10-11, 2025, Claudia Benvegnù won the mixed C2 event in the Under 23 category together with Davide Sartori, her teammate from Canottieri Padova, with atime of 1:16' 24.30.

The Department of Geosciences congratulates Claudia, wishing her a future full of success in both sports and academics.
