3rd Bilateral Sino-Italian Workshop "Technologies for the seismic protection and valorization of Cultural Heritage Assets”

The third bilateral sino-italian workshop "Technologies for the seismic protection and valorization of Cultural Heritage Assets” will be held at University of Padova - Campus Beato Pellegrino, on July, 3rd - 2025.
This workshop presents a consolidated cooperation between China and Italy in the field of protection of historical architectures and archaeological sites from earthquake-induced risks.
The main aim is to exchange best practices and the latest knowledge to improve the level of protection of cultural heritage buildings and sites in the two countries. In this workshop edition discussion on use of new digital technologies for risk assessment, management and valorization comes along with established methods for testing, analyzing and revitalizing the historical assets at risk.
The event is promoted and organized by the China - Italy international research center for protection of historical architectures and cultural relics (Cipar, 2018) and represent a starting point of demonstration and research activities and an internationally open resource aggregation platform of high-level administrators, researchers, professionals, practitioners in thel field of cultural heritage protection.
The workshop will be held in English with simultaneous translation in Italian (Seminario in inglese con traduzione simultanea in italiano)

Where?
The workshop will be held in the Aula Magna of the Beato Pellegrino Campus, (via Vendramini 13) fully restored with innovative technologies and open in 2019.
