Over the past few years, the Department of Geosciences has experienced significant growth in terms of both personnel and research interests. This initiative, which has been proposed by the Scientific Committee of the Department, aims to foster the integration of research activities and the sharing of knowledge, and strongly aligns with the policy of the University of Padova. This first edition will be the starting point to establish a recurrent yearly event.

In this framework, the Department is inviting all its staff to actively attend to this initiative. The Department of Geosciences Annual Meeting will be held on Wednesday 11th September 2024 afternoon with this general program (see the image above).

- From 14:30 to 16:30: TALKS in Aula Arduino

hired personnel will share some of their current research in 10 minutes long oral contributions and 2 minutes of Q/A.

- From 16:30 onward: POSTER SESSION

All researchers are invited to hang a poster about one of their research activities in the corridors and on office doors. Printed posters already presented at conferences during the year are perfectly fine. No special requirements for the poster format.
