From Tuesday 7th March 2023, the Department of Geosciences presents a new series of seminars for the second semester of the a.y. 2022/2023.

The events, proposed by members of the Department and held by speakers from Italian and international universities and research centers will be open to anyone interested.

• Tuesday 7th March, 4.30 pm - Aula Arduino: Tiny shakes: utilizing and modeling ambient seismic noise and induced seismic sequences, speaker: Dr. Laura Ermert ETH - Schweizerischer Erdbebendienst, Zürich (Switzerland). The abstract and the details are available here.

• Tuesday 28th March, 4.30 pm - Aula Arduino: Basement inversion of the European passive continental margin during Alpine collision: From nm-scale deformation processes to geodynamics, speaker: Prof. Marco Herwegh - University of Bern, Institute of Geological Sciences (CH).
